Purging compounds
A purging compound is a resin-based material designed to clean machines from contaminants after the manufacturing process.
The purging effect needs to be efficient, it may not harm machinery, and the downtime must be as short as possible for the manufacturer.
Purging compounds are used for cleaning barrels, screws, nozzles, and extrusion dies.
PRE-PRG™ is a highly efficient, ecological, and gentle polymer purging compound primarily composed of renewable and recycled raw materials. PRE-PRG™ does not contain any chemical cleaning additives.
PRE-PRG™ was initially developed for cleaning the most demanding carbon black and graphite compounds and powder coating machinery. Our natural fiber based purging compound is suitable for cleaning thermoplastic and thermoset processing machinery, and it is also ideal for polymer and color changes in everyday use.
As a leading expert in polymer modification and with a desire to test different natural ingredients, our team created a new purging compound for markets.
