Electrically conductive plastics for films

Our functional material solutions enable applications and innovations for a safe and technology-driven society. We have a wide variety of high-quality polyolefin-based conductive film compounds as well as TPU film grades.

PRE-ELEC® portfolio

Our PRE-ELEC® film compounds have high and durable conductivity and excellent dispersion. We have ensured they are compatible with ATEX regulations and are easy to process. They are also recyclable and resist wear and tear very well.

Storage and transport of hazardous and explosive materials

Flex tubes made of PRE-ELEC® compounds are strong and flexible. They can be used in multi-component structures. Using our conductive compounds you guarantee conductivity, high abrasion resistance, high flex-life, durability, easy processability, and flexibility even at low temperatures.

The material is suitable also for packages for conductive film packages used for storing and transporting, e.g., sensitive electronics.

Wearables and accesories

Our material solutions, especially TPU grades, are designed for supporting the growth of wearable technology, as our materials are ideal for skin contact. Our TPU compounds are highly conductive, flexible, and durable.  

Electrically conductive monofilaments and raffia tapes

Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBCs), or big bags, can be made safer by adding electrically conductive plastic films and filaments to their design. These conductive FIBCs, or FIBC type C bags, are made from non-conductive fabrics interwoven with conducting threads. They can be used to transport flammable powders and in spaces where flammable vapors, gases, or combustible specks of dust are present. The conductive inner lining increases the safety of these products.

Premix’s electrically conductive PRE-ELEC® compounds and concentrates are specially developed for thin and durable monofilaments and raffia tapes in FIBC type C applications. The material maintains an excellent conductivity level. The electrically conductive filaments can be easily braided with non-conductive filaments. This enables conductivity in the end product.

FIBC type C applications

Premix’s electrically conductive PRE-ELEC® compounds and concentrates are specially developed for thin and durable monofilaments and raffia tapes in FIBC type C applications.  

The material maintains an excellent conductivity level. The electrically conductive filaments can be easily braided with non-conductive filaments. This enables conductivity in the end product.
