PRE-ELEC® materials can be used in cans and bins to prevent the ignition of highly explosive fumes and dry or liquid chemicals, ensuring safe transportation and warehousing.
Pipes — extrusion applications
Pipes made of electrically conductive materials secure a safe and non-explosive environment in the chemical, processing and mining industries. PRE-ELEC® polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) compounds and concentrates provide a lightweight solution with increased service time and better corrosion resistance compared to traditional metal pipes.
Foams — extrusion applications
Polyethylene continuous and block foams made out of PRE-ELEC® compounds and concentrates, chemically and physically crosslinked, can be CNC-cut and used for heavy automotive and defense industry electronics packaging for transportation. Additionally, high-density EVA foam can be cut into gaskets and sealings.
